The 2010 draw, which took place this past Friday - 4 December - has demonstrated South Africa's readiness to successfully host the FIFA 2010 World Cup.

The event was handled in an extremely professional manner and left viewers in no doubt that it was the build-up to an African event. The night was also a demonstration of the passion that South Africans have for making the soccer showpiece a resounding success.
