The Skills Support Programme (SSP) is a cash incentive scheme under the umbrella of the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Programme (SMEDP). Its objective is to encourage greater investment in skills training and the introduction of new, advanced skills to the immediate benefit of the South African labour force and ultimately the South African economy.
