Stuart Ntlathi, celebrated in 2007 as the National Community Builder of the year, has been working tirelessly for the last nine years to help promote science, engineering and technology to South Africa’s younger generation.
In March these dreams were realized still further at the official opening of the Stuart Ntlathi Science, Engineering and Technology Institute offices in Jouberton, in the City of Matlosana.
“We want to use this building to show, in some diminutive method, how we have learned about science, engineering and technology, and this is just the beginning of greater things for our Infinity Dream,” said Ntlathi.
The building is an example of Ntlathi’s efforts to promote the education of science among youth, in particular the youth of Matlosana. It will also have a tourism component toit
During the launch Stuart Ntlathi (pictured below) also announced the SNSETINSTITUTE’s new project that is also linked to the new offices, the Jouberton Eye Observatory. Visitors and tourists to the Jouberton Eye will be offered a commanding view of Jouberton Basin at all directions.
This building will also house a state of the art plant library – a SciETech Botanical Garden.
Investors wanting to get involved in the SNSETINSTITUTE are actively encouraged to contact the company for more information on investment opportunities in the project.

Empowering The Youth

The SNSETINSTITUTE does not act as a university or a training college, however it does provide young people with an opportunity to acquire knowledge and experience at the organization. It is keen to attract a wide network of young people wanting pursue a career in science and technology.
As part of its efforts to promote the education of science to the youth, the SNSETINSTITUTE plays an integral role in the annual Africa Science, Engineering and Technology Summit for Young Scientists event.
The search starts again in May, as the SNSETINSTITUTE begins the search for innovative, inquisitive and interested young people from across Africa for the 2009 summit.
The 2009 summit is to be held under the theme “Be Infinity”. This encourages young people to explore infinite opportunities in the present age to brighten their futures.
The event is held in three ways: through a summit, exhibition and research. The young scientists will primarily be part of the main summit and exhibitions, whilst prominent scientists, engineers and technologists from around the world will be invited to research burning agendas with them.
We encourage all high school learners from across Africa who has aspirations of the “infinity dream” to put pen to paper and write an essay, explaining how the individual potential can be unleashed through science, engineering and technology.
