


Spanish international renewable energy developer AMDA energía is looking at developing wind energy projects in the Western Cape and is currently looking for local partners.
The company, which has subsidiaries in Mexico, USA, Ecuador, Argentina and Turkey, is hoping to develop such projects by entering into joint venture (JV) partnerships with local South African companies or with an active company in the renewable energy sector (wind, solar and biomass).
AMDA energía can offer solid experience with capabilities in:
The preferred South African partner would have to be an existing actor in the energy sector preferably in renewable energies or with the intention of getting involved in this field.
However, companies from others industrials sectors, such as construction or electricity devices production, with an interest in developing a complementary business line in renewable energies will also be considered.
The potential JV company will assist in developing all renewable energy business lines intended by AMDA energía.
Through the JV for wind-energy with its local partner, AMDA energía is open to investing in the Solar Energy industry and in Biomass Energy.
