Hotel Sebata (Pty) Limited

Project Description:

An opportunity to develop a 5-star boutique hotel. It will have 101 rooms (2x presidential suites, 5x superior suite, 6x penthouse suites, 14x deluxe suites and 74x exec suites), a health spa, Ala Carte restaurant, a conference centre, a cigar shop, a private library and a gym.

Hotel Sebata will be located in the city of Rustenburg within the Bojanala District Municipality, North West.

Project Rationale:

Hotel Sebata will be the only hotel where the guest’s wish-list becomes a reality at the client’s costs. It is a luxury home-away-from-home intended to be the dwelling place of kings and queens.

The hotel will fill the gaps in the hospitality market in the Rustenberg area, to cater for premier clients.

Funding requirements:

Capital requirements : R225 million
• R217 Million (development costs)
• R8.2 Million (working capital)

Zeerust Fresh Produce Market

Project Description:

The North West African Chamber of Commerce has identified an opportunity in the fresh produce industry and intends to respond by building a wholesale market in the province. A suitable land has been found around Zeerust and the Chamber is in the process of purchasing it.

Project Rationale:

North West Province has one municipality market located on the eastern side of the province in Potchefstroom, a town very close and competing with the Johannesburg Fresh Produce Market (JFPM) and Tshwane markets. The rest of North West is serviced by corporate retailers, at the best, which source their produce from the JFPM. Thus a redistribution centre has a role in the rest of the North West.

Funding required

R 16,978,365
