A German company is looking to market and distribute small to medium sized emission-free power plants that use biomass to generate electricity and useful heat/cooling energy by CHP (cogeneration).
Biomass energy from organic matter – including all types of fuel such as planted and harvested plants, sawmill waste, residues from agriculture and food production, etc – is converted into “valuables” by thermal gasification/oiling process to produce fuel for combustion engines and additives.
Given the multi-feed-stock ability and the 20 ft container-like layout of the plant, it focuses on decentralized generation of energy of up to 500 kWel/h / 750th/h. Plant layout expandable to 100 MW.
The plant contributes to a better energy security in the event of power failures and could secure continued operation of key facilities like clinics, resource saving, exploitation of renewable energy resources – with additional fittings, it is possible to adapt it for the desalinization of sea water and sewage treatment.
