Zurel Bros SA is a fully accredited service provider with the MQA SETA in the diamond processing and Occupational Health and Safety fields, ISO 9001:2008 Certified, UMALUSI accredited, Private FET College registered with DOE and recognized as an Institution of Excellence (ISOE) by the MQA SETA.
The MQA SETA are focusing on the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Representative development project which has been established to train 40 000 OHS Representatives and Shop Stewards over 5 years as required by the Mine Health and Safety Tripartite leadership Summit Agreement signed on 5 September 2008. This training is offered at no charge to the employer, the service provider is compensated directly from the MQA SETA, the employer only needs to sign a letter of commitment with Zurel Bros SA and to release their elected employees for 10 days of training.
The skills programme offered - MQA/SP/0071/09 - is a registered qualification with the MQA SETA and SAQA and consists of 9 credits, and consists of the following Core Unit Standards:
