South Africa's manufacturing output grew by 7.5% year-on-year in volume terms in July compared with an upwardly revised 9.3% expansion in June, Statistics South Africa said on 8 September.

Compared with June, factory production in volume terms rose by a seasonally-adjusted 0.7% in July. Output was up 1.5% in the three months to July compared with the previous three months, also on a seasonally-adjusted basis.
