

Province seeks R60-bn in investment by 2017
Fri, 15 Jun 2007 00:00The Eastern Cape province is seeking R60-billion in investments over the next decade for biofuels, water and forestry projects to help boost economic growth in the province. Saki Macozoma, a board member of Standard Bank Group, Africa's biggest lender, would chair a new company called Asgisa (Eastern Cape), which would aim to attract investment into the province.
