"Empowering the Private Sector to Boost Productivity & Growth in Africa"

The EMRC AgriBusiness Forum 2009 will present alternative solutions for efficient and sustainable agricultural & economic growth.

The forum, Empowering the Private Sector to Boost Productivity & Growth in Africa, is hosted in partnership with The Agricultural Business Chamber of South Africa, Rabobank and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).

The Forum’s participants: Over 350 delegates are expected from Africa, Europe, the Americas and Asia

Delegates will include: industry leaders, cooperatives, SMEs, Financiers, Government officials, NGOs, researchers, international organisations, multinational and bilateral donors

The EMRC-Rabobank Project Incubator Award (US$ 15.000) for innovative projects in the Agri-Food sector in Africa, will be presented by Rabobank Foundation on Tuesday evening, 16th June

Business-to-Business match-making: EMRC will be running a tailor made match-making programme throughout the conference, allowing delegates to maximise networking opportunities
