



Sacoma Centre for Enterprise has the pleasure of announcing the first ever business “Auction Floor” that will take place in Nairobi, Kenya, from the 25 to 26 June 2009.
The “Auction Floor” aims to build effective and inclusive partnerships for viable investments and projects in developing countries by bringing together the businesses and a wide range of potential investors and local authorities that have an interest in sustainable and equitable investment climate and business environment in Africa.
Companies selected to present at the Partnering Forum will have investment-ready business plans with identified practical actions (potential investors, partners, and advisors) based upon opportunities identified.
How does the Auction Floor work?
The Auction Floor booklet will gather together almost 100 businesses with investment-ready businesses, propositions, and proposals that are looking for funding or Equity. During the Forum, participants will have the opportunity to meet with potential investors, investment bankers, Venture Capital Managers and make 8 minute presentations.
Participation is exclusively for the selected companies. Presenting companies will have clear perceived shareholder value with identifiable practical actions and ROI for potential investors, partners, advisors based upon opportunities identified.

Visibility
Private fund Managers, investors and participants will get a chance to develop partnerships. Companies, private equity firms and venture capitalists that attend the conference can submit a brief text and logo for inclusion in the Conference Program that will be distributed to all participants.
One-on-one meetings
Investment opportunities and Projects will be presented by sub-theme and region. The match-making will be informal. We will also facilitate private meetings.
