The Southern African International Trade Exhibition (SAITEX) enjoys a reputation internationally as the ‘gateway to African trade’.

This year the event is taking place at the Gallager Estate, in Midrand, Gauteng between the 19 - 21 July 2009.

Local and international manufacturers and exporters, distributors, importers, entrepreneurs, trade management service providers as well as government and investment agencies looking to penetrate the African and global market with a focus on expanding their current markets, are welcome.

The only multi-sectoral trade fair of its size and kind in Africa, SAITEX hosts hundreds of exhibitors, showcasing products, services and opportunities from all over the world. Exhibitors get exposure to thousands of agents, distributors, importers and wholesalers with well-established infrastructure and trade networks throughout Africa and the world.

SAITEX 2009 will further be hosting The South African Small Business Development Initiative:

• This initiative will be focusing on SMME’s, their challenges, risks and opportunities. A conference will be held with input from major stakeholders and key players in the industry alongside a number of workshops covering various topical issues affecting SMME’s. These will include national and provincial governmental strategies together with relevant legislative issues. Focused business-to-business events will be hosted where potential buyers and sellers can network and meet on a one-on-one basis.
• The South African Small Business Development Initiative will therefore create an ideal forum for SMME’s to showcase their products and services to an international, African and South African market. Whether your target is the exhibitor, the visitor or the conference delegates -or all three target audiences- ample opportunities exist to maximise your exposure at SAITEX 2009.
