Dedicated to Strengthening Bilateral Trade between Africa and China
Leaders of governments and businesses, and the public and private sectors from China and Africa will meet in Cape Town in October to participate in the 2009 Corporate Africa, China Africa Business Summit. The summit will take place at the BMW Pavilion, Cape Town, South Africa.
Over the last decade China has become the key development partner to many nations in Africa and is having a visible impact upon economic growth across the continent. African resources play an important role in the global economy, and Chinese trade and businesses will be able to share their experiences at first hand with their counterparts in Africa during the event.
As well as enhancing bilateral trade between Africa and China the Summit will endeavour to bring the successful relationship currently existing between Chinese and African governments down to businesses in both regions, promoting Joint Ventures, Private Public Partnerships, Agencies, Manufacturing opportunities, Project Finance, Skill and Technology Transfers and minor and major projects to reduce language and cultural barriers between leaders of businesses in China and Africa.
With Africa possessing abundant natural resources and a major emerging market of the future, the Summit is perfectly timed and a first class opportunity for key stakeholders to participate in defining the future of investment and economic development on the continent.
The Summit will open with an Opening Gala Dinner featuring a line-up of esteemed business leaders, including an address by the newly elected President of South Africa, Jacob Zuma and business leaders from both continents.
