The Popular Mechanics Inventors Conference takes place on 25 and 26 September at the School of Tourism & Hospitality’s impressive facility in Auckland Park, Johannesburg.
Sponsored by the Innovation Fund, and supported by Licensing Technology Network (LTN), the PM Inventors Conference will feature some of the country’s foremost practitioners in the fields of intellectual property law, product design (including 3D CAD), rapid prototyping, marketing, and much more.
We’ll tell you how to protect your idea, how to save a bomb on patent costs, how to analyse market needs (and desires!), how to avoid the pitfalls, and even what to do if you’re burned.
Experts will introduce useful case studies, explain why some inventions succeed and others fail, share experiences, interact with you in hands-on workshops, and dissect new inventions in candid panel discussions that promise to be extremely lively.
Speakers confirmed:
We have space for just 120 delegates, to be signed up on a first-come, first-served basis, which suggests it would be a good idea to book and pay as soon as possible.
To inquire about hiring a 2x2-metre exhibition space (with or without shell scheme), please telephone Kim Black on 011 783 7030 or Nomfundo Calana on 021 530 3204
