Coal Energy Africa is a one day forum focusing on the sustainable use of coal and solutions for improved supply chain logistics, as well as the challenges of enhancing the efficiency and environmental acceptability of coal use. Financial and regulatory mechanisms to bring these technological improvements to market will be debated and discussed. Infrastructure developments necessary to support an effective supply chain, inbound and outbound, will be examined through real-life case studies and project evaluations.
Coal Energy Africa will include an interactive workshop on low carbon technologies and carbon credits. Some topics will include the pricing outlook of coal and the impact on the coal sector, CO2 capture and storage, and low carbon and clean coal technologies.
